Thank you for approving the transfer; we will now start the processing of transferring your domain to us.  Please take a minute and read over these transfer instructions.  Following these instructions are crucial in order for us to successfully transfer your domain.

Although we have already completed the necessary and required ownership verification process, other registrars have taken it upon themselves to put an extra hurdle in place.  We firmly believe this is not a safe-guard, but a way for your old registrar to keep your business by default.  Most of the time, this entails them sending out another email to you that appears to be spam.  However, at the bottom of their email, it will tell you that you have to complete some extra verification step through them or they will refuse your transfer request.

Here are a few of the registrars who are notorious for this practice.  If your domain is currently registered with one of these companies, please read about their process so your transfer does not fail:

Network Solutions/Verisign - They will send out an email to the administrative email address for your domain several days from now.  This email looks like spam and tries to get you to cancel your transfer request by offering you a special price.  Please do not disregard this email.  At the bottom of the email, they tell you that your must reply to their email or they will refuse this transfer request.  If you do not follow the instructions in their email, they will refuse your transfer request and your transfer will not be successful

Register.com - They send out an email that looks like spam.  It offers you a discounted renewal price if you keep your domain with them.  However, they also include a link to a page on their site.  You must go to the link they provide in that email and approve the transfer or they will refuse this transfer request.

Joker - Joker makes things difficult by making you contact them before you place a transfer request.  They then open a "time window" in which a transfer will be automatically approved only if it is submitted during that time frame.
